What is the WISER project?
The Women In Steady Exercise Research (WISER) project is a four year study
examining the effect exercise has on oxidative stress and estrogen levels.
This is important because exercise might reduce risk for breast cancer
through these physiological changes. The study will involve 400 women
aged 18-30, who will take part in the study for a 6 month time period.
Please note, the WISER study will be looking for participants over
the next three years, beginning in the spring of 2006. Interested women
are encouraged to apply if they live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
WISER is done with recruitment at this time. Thank you for your interest in women's health!
